Bouquet on the couch

During my visit to the Musée de l'Orangerie, I stopped for over an hour in front of a painting, Auguste Renoir's masterpiece "Peaches" (1881-1882). Looking at it, I had the impression, if I had dared to touch them, of feeling the velvety down of the skin of these fruits at my fingertips. The combination of colors, the simplicity of the composition and the finesse of the brush caused in me a very strong desire to follow this master and create my own composition from flowers bought at the market early in the morning. It is this painting that sprang from it where for the first time I used the palette knives which gave this effect of relief to the flowers. I also tried to make the velvety aspect of the blue hanging using the traditional technique.
